Overview
Real estate is one of the world’s largest asset classes, but it can also be one of the hardest to access. Liquidity constraints, complexity around legal title, and complicated compliance requirements can make it difficult for both issuers and investors to unlock opportunities.
That’s where ABC FinTech stepped in. Founded in 2020, the Chicago-based company set out to make commercial real estate (CRE) investing more accessible by creating a marketplace for fractional ownership backed by digital securities represented on the blockchain, also called security tokens. But scaling such a platform required more than vision; it needed purpose-built technology. That’s where Polymath came in. Our Polymath Capital Platform (PCP) became the foundational technology helping ABC FinTech seamlessly raise capital, manage their portfolio of digital securities, and connect with their growing network of investors.
The Challenge
ABC’s first-generation CRE tokenization platform was live but faced major roadblocks. Between the lack of integration with blockchain wallets, limited support for self-custody, and no solution for private secondary trading, ABC FinTech found it difficult to convince investors to buy into a tokenized CRE asset. These gaps, combined with slow industry adoption, led ABC to put their tokenization project on hold.
The Solution – Polymath's Capital Platform
In 2025, ABC FinTech re-launched its tokenization platform using the Polymath Capital Platform as its foundational technology solution, powered by the Polymesh blockchain. The collaboration allowed them to:
- Set up a fully customized marketplace for security tokens that matched their existing brand
- Enable self-custody wallets for investors
- Launcha private, peer-to-peer secondary trading marketplace for investors
- Automateinvestor onboarding, including compliance and suitability assessments
- Reduce setup timeand expense by 80% compared to a traditional capital raise
The Results
Within weeks of launching, ABC FinTech attracted 300+ new investors, raised over $700,000 USD in total investments, and positioned itself to scale its portfolio of tokenized real estate offerings to a wider audience.
CEO Matt Andelman puts it simply:
“Any deal sponsor considering tokenization to raise private capital by selling regulated digital asset securities should be looking at Polymath. They have all the tools, a beautifully designed UI/UX, a robust investor portal, and it’s very simple to use. Integrating PCP into ABC’s technology stack has filled all critical gaps in our platform, including self-custody, private trading, and the use of stablecoins to purchase and trade ABC Tokens. At last, it’s all on-chain.”
