Polymath is pleased to announce the technology acquisition of MetaFinance, a capital raising and investor management platform. The technology provides an integrated solution for the private market ecosystem to collaboratively issue, manage and distribute securities, making investment in tokenized securities accessible and inclusive to all types of investors.

Founder of MetaFinance, Nabil lrfan, had seen major gaps in the converging industries of capital markets, asset digitization and tokenization. He is pleased to now be part of the Polymath team, “Given Polymath’s focus on digitizing real world assets, I am confident in the team’s ability to deliver a robust solution for the enterprise market and service the growing demand for securitized assets.”

Investment in private capital markets has long been the domain of top-level investors. Private capital markets are notoriously inaccessible, opaque and illiquid. For example, in the current real estate climate, an investor must have a significant amount of capital to enter the market, sometimes up to 10-20% of a property’s value. This is simply unaffordable to most. This highly regulated industry comes with its share of hurdles, but Polymath, with its most recent acquisition, is now positioned to help issuers and investors at any level overcome these challenges in real estate markets and beyond — becoming real players in the multi-billion dollar asset markets.

How will we do that? Polymath, along with its purpose-built blockchain technology, Polymesh, allows issuers and investors an accessible interface to create, manage and build their investment offerings and portfolios in a seamless, easy-to-use way. No longer do you have to be a technology guru, or require a long list of access points, to create offers, understand yields, solicit investors, and check in on investments. Polymath’s new full stack end-to-end platform — Polymath Capital Platform — bridges the gap for investors of all sizes. Vince Kadar, CEO of Polymath, is excited about the future: “Blockchain technology holds tremendous promise to bring in a new era of transparency, accountability, protection, and efficiency in business. We are working to deliver an institutional-grade end-to-end platform that realizes the potential of real world assets represented as security tokens and operated through smart contracts.”

Polymath developed the open-source code for Polymesh, an institutional-grade blockchain built specifically for regulated assets. The Polymath Capital Platform works on the Polymesh blockchain, providing extensive security benefits to platform users — benefits that are not available with just any solution.

What sets Polymesh Apart?

Polymesh is an institutional–grade permissioned blockchain built specifically for regulated assets. Regulated markets require identity, compliance, confidentiality, and deterministic finality — and Polymesh was built to solve these challenges, incorporating key functions into the chain’s core.

This is an important differentiator for Polymath, as most existing blockchains were built for pseudonymity, censorship resistance, and transparency, and rely on probabilistic settlement. Being purpose-built to address regulatory environments, using the Polymath Capital Platform on the Polymesh blockchain means that key advantages are built into the core of the system and gives issuers and investors risk mitigating and reliable solutions for:

  • effective asset onboarding
  • compliance assurance
  • transfer restrictions
  • redundant data source insight
  • transfer disable functions
  • asset recovery
  • identity verification

One platform powering a smart future.

The Polymath Capital Platform is designed to create offers, collaborate with teams and manage an array of investments in one place — securely, seamlessly and easily. Asset owners and investors require reliability and trust for adoption and usability, and with Polymesh as an established foundation, this allows for total confidence in transactions, investments and ultimately, more revenue. With the acquisition of Metafinance’s technology, Polymath has created an environment of infinite potential — one platform powering a smart future.
