It’s Official, the Polymesh Mainnet is Live!

The time has come! We’re thrilled to announce that Polymesh – the world’s first public, permissioned blockchain built for regulated securities – is now live!

The Polymesh Mainnet was launched by the Switzerland-based Polymesh Association with its genesis block today on October 28th, 2021. The launch comes six months following the successful Incentivized Testnet (ITN), which saw more than 4,300 unique verified users. Over 300 security token tickers have been pre-reserved on the network for ERC1400 issuers waiting to be claimed.

While Polymesh is now up and running, our eager community will need to wait a tiny bit longer to use the chain. To ensure everything is running smoothly, UIs (including onboarding and ITN rewards claiming) will not go live for users until after an internal testing period of approximately 2 weeks. In the meantime, you can monitor activity using the Polymesh Stats Page and Polymesh Block Explorer

As our Co-Founder Chris Housser says, “This is the culmination of many years of hard work, and it’s so rewarding to see that come to fruition, especially after the community’s passionate response to the Incentivized Testnet”.

On that note, we want to express an enormous thank you to our community for your continued patience and support. We made it!
